IRIS PALLIDA

Native to southern Europe, in the Mediterranean region, Iris pallida is a plant particularly appreciated for its elegant, delicately hued flowers. Since ancient times, it has been associated with beauty, spirituality and mystery, and takes its name from Greek mythology, where Iris, messenger of the gods, symbolized the rainbow that linked earth to sky. In ancient iconography, it embodied hope and the connection to the divine, giving this flower a mystical and sacred aura.

Valued for its ornamental and medicinal uses, iris has been used in various cultures as a traditional remedy since the Middle Ages. Today, empirical uses have been validated by in vitro and in vivo studies, confirming their antioxidant and anti-inflammatory.
